Objects
chosen by
artists.

Ceramics, books, limited editions, and functional art. Every piece made by or selected by working fine artists. Not a gallery. Not a gift shop. Something in between that didn't exist until now.

The Idea
Most things you own were designed by committees and manufactured by strangers. Shelf Life is a shop where every object has an artist behind it, whether they made it with their hands or picked it off a shelf somewhere and said: this one matters.

01

Artist-Made

Ceramics, sculptures, functional objects, and editions created by fine artists who typically show in galleries and museums. The same hands, different scale, accessible price.

02

Artist-Selected

Books, tools, objects, and curiosities chosen by guest curators, all working artists. What they keep in their studios. What they give as gifts. What they think you should own.

03

Limited Runs

Small editions, numbered pieces, and one-offs. When something sells out, it's gone. No restocks, no mass production. Scarcity isn't manufactured here, it's inherent.

What's on
the shelf

Every category curated by artists who actually work in these mediums. No algorithms. No trends reports. Just taste.
